Parallel Voices

PARALLEL VOICE PRODUCTIONS, LLC is a music and event production company founded in 2003 by recording engineer and music/event producer, Brian Young (bio).

In partnership with Jonathan Secor (bio), of Secor Productions, and The Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York City, Parallel Voice Productions created and co-produced the interfaith, multicultural concert series, Songs of the Spirit, which premiered at the Cathedral in 2005. Since that time, annual performances and a New York State tour of Songs of the Spirit have featured appearances by artists whose work represents a diverse range of cultural and spiritual traditions, including: Odetta, Hugh Masekela, Meshell Ndegeocello, Patti Smith, The Klezmatics, Joshua Nelson, Salman Ahmad, Craig Harris, Sussan Deyhim, The Tibetan Monks of the Drepung Loseling Monastery, Laurie Anderson, The Shangilia Youth Choir of Kenya, Ollabelle, Niyaz, Pharaoh's Daughter, Tracy Grammer, Gary Lucas, DJ Spooky, Haale, Sekou Sundiata and others.
